maybe a silly question, but why are they riding road bikes? i'm assuming by the pack formation that the hy-vee is draft legal, and that is why?
ReplyDeleteThe reason is that it is a World Cup race, which is draft legal. This format was designed for the Olympics to be more viewer friendly, and also so that the outcome of the race wouldn't be changed after-the-fact due to subjective drafting penalties.
